It is a winning blend that helps structuring a unique identity and transfer it to a wine.

Wine is more than a fermented must, is an art In the wine world there is much science, however, there also is a great artistic component.

When our winemakers take each wine to a higher level, to a more complex and multidimensional and a more delicious combination of ingredients. It is their way to balance a wine and to achieve its unique expression. In short, it is an artist’s way to highlight the potential of each variety.

Our grapes are vinified and aged separately to be later combined – after our winemakers explore the taste and the quality of each wine in order to match them into the perfect blend.

WHERE OUR GRAPES COME FROM

They come from Appellation Origin MADRID, Villa del Prado is a Municipality of Madrid the Capital of Spain After a first attempt in 1973, the Wines of Madrid Appellation of Origin began to take shape in 1982 but were not effective until the late 90’s. A big change in the structure of the wine-making industry of the province made the wine of Madrid take a leap from nonymity to a growing presence in the markets.

Currently the wineries in the area are concentrated in the Specific Appellation of Arganda consisted of six municipalities (Arganda, Belmonte de Tajo, Colmenar de Oreja, Chinchón, Valdilecha y Villarejo de Salvanés), Navalcarnero´s of two (Navalcarnero y El Álamo) and that of San Martín de Valdeiglesias of four (Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos, San Martín de Valdeiglesias and Villa del Prado).

Our Vineyard is called TEJONERAS and sits at around 750 meters (2460 ft) above sea level, which is part of the recipe for quality grape growing here. Our grapes grow in soils made up of granite, slate and quartzite, surrounding by junipers, oaks, almonds and olive tres giving the vineyard protection against weather and giving to the soil a perfect balance Temperature during the day in this region can average between 70-80 degrees Fahrenheit, while at night the temperature can drop 30-40 degrees. This vine has adapted over centuries to handle the fluctuation and in turn deliver a bold flavored wine.
